MUSIC

I have been playing guitar and bass for more than half of my life. I played guitar in Unsteady for a few years, and I currently play guitar with March Sadness.
I started Semi Lovato in 2022 in an attempt to battle my own creative procrastination. Like so many other musicians and producers, I had a computer full of music ideas in various states of ‘undone.’ I finished an EP in early 2023, and continue to create clips when the lightening strikes.
I love exploring new production ideas. I’m influenced by a wide array of musical styles, and find great joy in attempting to recreate sounds and creating new ones.
In early 2025, The Oblivion Chapel came to life from a handful of rare, finished Semi Lovato tracks that were made all the more vivid by the distinctive vocal stylings of my longtime friend, Mad Candy. Working on this project has given me the chance to expand and transform not only as a creative collaborator, but also to sharpen my skills as a producer and engineer, pushing my craft into new, unexpected directions.
